kural tanımayan, sanatçı hayatı yaşayan kişilere verilen isim. Bohem hayatı yaşayan kişinin yaşamı sanat ile doludur. gündelik hayatın monotonluğunu redederek içe dönük bir hayat yaşayan kişidir.

 bohem deyince iki isim geliyor Türkiye'de. Necip Fazıl ve Neyzen Tevfik. Necip Fazıl değişiminden önce yaşadığı hayatı bohem olarak niteliyor. Ama kim ne derse desin. Büyük dönüşü yapmasa bugün hakkında bu kadar çok bahsetmeyeceğimiz kesin. Kendisi bohem çizgisinden kayarak daha mütevazi ve toplum tarafından benimsenen bir hayata dönüyor. İşte belki de Necip Fazıl'ı Necip Fazıl yapan buydu. Neyzen Tevfik'e gelince şu anda çok iyi içen bir sanatçıdan daha fazlası bilinmiyor. Demek istediğim kültürümüz Neyzen Tevfik'i bir bakıma cezalandırmış. Necip Fazıl'ı ise ödüllendirmiş.
