Doedicurus
Doedicurus clavicaudatus was a glyptodont, living during the Pleistocene until the end of the last ice age, some 11 000 years ago. This was the largest known glyptodontid, and one of the better known members of the New World Pleistocene megafauna, with a height of 1.5 meters (5 ft) and an overall length of around 3.6 meters (12 ft).
Titanosaurus colberti Isisaurus (named after the Indian Statistical Institute) is a genus of dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Period. Isisaurus was a sauropod (specifically a titanosaur), which lived in what is now India.
Omeisaurus tianfuensis
Omeisaurus is a sauropod dinosaur from the Late Jurassic Period of what is now China. Its name comes from Mount Omeshian, where it was discovered. It was 15 to 20 meters long and weighed around 4-5 tons.It lived alongside with stegosaurids as Tuojiangosaurus and Chungkingosaurus. Omeisaurus was probably the most common late Jurassic sauropod in China.
Therizinosaurus
The first fossil remains of Therizinosaurus cheloniformis were discovered in the late 1940s by a Soviet-Mongolian fossil expedition, in the Nemegt Formation of southwestern Mongolia. They unearthed several giant claws that measured up to a meter in length. The animal total length was around 8 to 9 m (26 feet), it lived during the Late Cretaceous (77-71 million years ago). Therizinosaurus belonges to segnosaurids, herbivorous theropods. Modelled with Lightwave 3D.
Deinocheirus mirificus
Deinocheirus (Greek: ‘terrible hand’) was an ornithomimid dinosaur which lived in what is now southern Mongolia, during the Late Cretaceous Period. The only known fossil remains are a single pair of massive, 2.4 m (8 ft) forelimbs, with 25 cm (10 in) long claws and the remains of some ribs and vertebrae. Total length of this dinosaur was around 10.5 m (34,5 feet).
Velociraptor
Velociraptor is a genus of theropod dinosaur that existed approximately 75 to 71 mya (million years ago) during the late Cretaceous Period. Velociraptor was a mid-sized dromaeosaurid, with adults measuring up to 2.07 m (6.8 ft) long, 0.5 m (1.6 ft) high at the hip, and weighing up to 15 kg. One particularly famous specimen preserves a Velociraptor locked in combat with a Protoceratops.
Stegosaurus armatus
Stegosaurus (means “roof-lizard”) is a genus of stegosaurid dinosaur from the Late Jurassic period (150 to 145 million years ago), North America. It was herbivore (plant-eater). Stegosaurus armatus was around 9 metres (30 ft) long,so it was larger than Stegosaurus stenops with length 7m (23 feet). Distant dino is Allosaurus.
Amargasaurus
Amargasaurus (named from La Armaga, a canyon in Argentina where the fossil was found) is a genus of dicraeosaurid sauropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous Period (130-125 mya) of what is now South America. It was small for a sauropod, reaching 10 meters (33 feet) length. The “skin sail” on the neck hypothesis was rejected in 2000.The long spines were obviously covered with flesh and skin insted. It was for mating and dominance rituals and for making it look much larger than it was to predators.
Alioramus remotus
Alioramus is a genus of tyrannosaurid theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period of Asia. It was 5 to 6 metres (16 to 20 ft) in length. Modelled with Lightwave3D.
Pentaceratops
Pentaceratops sternbergi from the late Cretaceous Period, found from North America. It is closely related to Anchiceratops and the earlier genus Chasmosaurus. It was 8 m (27 ft) long and weighed around 5,500 kg Pentaceratops, like all ceratopsians, was an herbivore, it fed on ferns, cycads and conifers.
Dimetrodon grandis
Dimetrodon was a mammal-like reptile which had both mammal and reptile characteristics (not a dinosaur). It lived during the Early Permian Period, between 280 – 265 million years ago. Fossils have been found in North America and Europe. The sail was probably for controlling body temperature and for mating and dominance rituals.Dimetrodon was a predator (meat eater).
Europasaurus
Europasaurus holgeri is a sauropod. The genus name means “lizard from Europe”. It lived during the Late Jurassic (155-150 million years ago) of northern Germany, and has been identified as an example of dwarfism resulting from the isolation of a sauropod population on an island within the Lower Saxony basin. Length from 1.7 to 6.2 meters.
Shunosaurus lii
A medium-sized sauropod, around 10 metres long, with a bony club at the end of the tail, which was used for defense. It lived 170 million years ago, Middle Jurassic, Sichuan Province in China. It is the first discovery of tail clubs of sauropod dinosaurs in the world. Modelled with Lightwave3D 9.3
Styracosaurus albertensis
Styracosaurus albertensis was a genus of herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Period (approximately 75 to 70 million years ago). The remains of Styracosaurus were found in Alberta, Canada and Arizona,USA. It was a large dinosaur, reaching lengths of 5.5 meters (18 ft) and weighing nearly 3 tons.Like other ceratopsians, this dinosaur may have been a herd animal, traveling in large groups. Attacked by carnivorous tyrannosaurid Daspletosaur. Modelled with Lightwave 3D.
Kentrosaurus
Full name:Kentrosaurus aethiopicus Kentrosaurus (=Kentrurosaurus) meaning – “pointed lizard”.It is a genus of stegosaurid dinosaur from the Late Jurassic of Tanzania, related to Stegosaurus of North America.Kentrosaurus was up to 5 metres (16 ft) long. Kentrosaurus was a slow and inactive dinosaur. It may have reared up on its hind legs to reach twigs and leaves, but would normally have been fully quadrupedal. Modelled with Ligtwave3D.
Brontotherium
Brontotherium meaning-”thunder beast’) is an extinct genus of the family Brontotheriidae, an extinct group of rhinoceros-like herbivores related to horses. The genus was found in North America,Early Oligocene. The animal was 2.50 m (8 ft 4 in) tall at the shoulders. Lot of Brontotherium remains have been found in South Dakota and Nebraska. In the past, specimens were found by Native Americans of the Sioux tribe. They believed these creatures produced thunderstorms when running over the clouds, and called
Monolophosaurus jiangi
Monolophosaurus (“one-crested lizard”) was a carnosaur from Middle Jurassic (about 170 mya) ,found from China. It was 5-6 meters long and 2 meters high.Related to allosaurs. Modelled with Lightwave3D.
Acrocanthosaurus atokensis
Acrocanthosaurus atokensis is a genus of theropod dinosaur that existed in North America during the mid-Cretaceous Period (125 to 100 million years ago). The fossil remains are found mainly in Oklahoma and Texas. It was 12 meters (40 ft) in length, weighing about 2.5 tons.
Austroraptor
Austroraptor (“Southern thief”) was a genus of dromaeosaurid dinosaur that lived about 70 million years ago during the Cretaceous period in what is now modern Argentina. Austroraptor measured around 5 metres (16 ft) in length. It is the largest known dromaeosaur. Modelled with Lightwave3D.
Estemmenosuchus uralensis
Another specie of Estemmenosuchus. It lived during the Middle Permian period (255 million years ago and was the largest animal of its day, up to 4 m (13 feet) long.Found from the Perm region of Russia. Modelled with Lightwave 3D.
